About the Project: Apollo & Hyacinthus: The Blood of Olympus
The Artist: Darren Troy Jenkins
Lyricist | Architect of Sound | Lore-Keeper
Darren Troy Jenkins is a cinematic lyricist who breathes new life into ancient myths and modern legends. From the marble halls of Olympus to the rugged peaks of Skyrim, his work bridges the gap between neoclassical grandeur and immersive digital storytelling.
In 1987 as a former member of the prestigious Nevada Union High School European Choir, Darren brings a lifetime of vocal heritage to his modern creative process. Using a "Versace-style" aesthetic, where high fashion meets high fantasy.
This project is the culmination of an intensive creative journey—a feature-length screenplay that breathes new, cinematic life into classical mythology. At its heart, this is a story of divine connection, legacy, and the echoes of antiquity in the modern consciousness. The 121-page script is complete and currently undergoing official copyright registration, marking it as a fully realized, professional-ready work prepared for production.
A Multimedia Experience
Apollo & Hyacinthus is more than a script; it is a holistic artistic vision. To capture the emotional resonance and grand scale of the narrative, I have composed and mastered a comprehensive 26-track original score. Each piece is crafted to high-fidelity standards—48kHz at 32-bit float—ensuring that the auditory experience matches the epic scope of the storytelling.
Character Design & Aesthetics
The visual identity of this project is rooted in an elevated, "Royal Greek" aesthetic. Every character has been meticulously conceptualized, from their intricate, Greco-Roman-inspired costumes to custom-designed jewelry pieces. These designs serve as the bridge between the written word and the screen, grounding the characters in a world of luxury textures, gold accents, and timeless motifs.
The Vision
My goal as a screenwriter, lyricist and visual creator is to marry narrative depth with orchestral power. By integrating my background in storytelling with these custom-composed soundtracks and visual designs, I have created a fully immersive universe.
Apollo & Hyacinthus is ready to step from the page to the screen, standing as a testament to the power of multimedia storytelling. Thank you for joining me on this journey.

“Do not mistake their devotion for love, Apollo. A mortal’s love is a frantic, beautiful, dying thing. Do not try to hold it, or you will find only petals in your hands.”
— -Leto
“Do not mourn the shadow that follows me, for it only proves I have walked in your light. When I am gone, you will look to the earth and see the purple bloom, and you will think it a tragedy of the gods—but I want you to know it is simply my way of holding onto the warmth one last time. We were never meant to be immortal, Apollo; our beauty was always in the brevity. You are the fire that gives the world its meaning, but I… I am the memory that keeps the fire from ever truly growing cold. Remember me not as a fallen boy, but as the only mortal who dared to stare into the sun and find enough grace to smile before the end. ”
